STUDIO

Studio History:

Since its opening, Teaze hosted events inside the studio including Rocky Horror Picture Show, Pin Up Bazaar, holiday showcases, themed parties, and anniversary events. During our ten years in business, Teaze participated in many parades and news segments including the Oklahoma Gazette's annual Halloween parade with thousands in attendance. Teaze won the Hotter Than Hades Award in 2009 and  3rd place in 2011 among the entries in the parade.  The studio and staff have been featured on Fox 25, KFOR, 96.9 BOB-FM, Oklahoma Live, Look at OKC, and the Oklahoma Gazette.

Teaze is the first and only studio of its kind in our state and over the many years, the studio hosted internationally known artists for shows and workshops. Pole, aerial, & burlesque performers as well as instructors include Natasha Wang, David C. Owen, Pantera Blacksmith, Jordan Kolar, Bettina May, the Schlep Sisters, Ruby Revue, and Houston Burlesque Revue.  One of our own students took her first beginning pole class at Teaze in 2011 and by 2013, Rachele Ribera was competing in the Pole Championship Series, Paragon, and Miss Pole Dance America. She was a weekly class instructor from 2014-2016 at this studio.  Today, she is teaching and performing around the world.

Our Studio:

Our studio is laid out in an open floor plan with an Old Hollywood Glamour theme. There is a comfy serpentine couch and pink vintage lamps and tables for seating area near the front doors. We offer a large changing room with a chaise lounge. Our custom built sprung wood dance floor is stunning. It contains room for 14 poles and 8 aerial apparatuses, all of which can be removed or reconfigured for traditional dance workshops or a party. We offer a 961 sq ft dance floor. Five solid 6 ft X 10 ft mirrors run the entire length of the studio. For more atmosphere and gorgeous group photos, we have a vintage tiki bar and tiki decor all around the bar. For the best experience, we have privacy curtains on all windows and doors as well as dimmable lighting. We use soft lamp lighting for group events to set a cozy and sultry mood. Historic photos and 70 year old showgirl costumes line the walls and shelves of the studio on display for a educational experience. Our owners are entertainers who offer a live band and dancers for events. You will see the history of our entertainment company on the walls and items we have collected and preserved over the years as well as instruments and leather tooled music equipment. Our staff offer many more years of experience pleasing bachelorette and birthday girls! We can easily accommodate groups where every participant has her own pole, aerial sling, chair, and burlesque props!

Our Location:

Teaze Dance & Fitness is located in historic Automobile Alley at 1112 N Broadway Ave OKC, OK 73103. We are two blocks west of I-235 (Broadway Extension) & just north of the N. 10th St. intersection on the east side of Broadway. The I-235 exit is at N. 10th Street. We are located in the downtown area so be sure to plan extra parking time accordingly. Be sure to put our entire address into your GPS as there are Broadway streets in Moore and Edmond and not paying attention to the exact address can get you lost. We are located across the street from Broadway 10 Chophouse and Hatch Restaurant. There is a Phillips 66 gas station across the street from us as well.

If there is a train blocking N. 10th street after you exit from I-235, you may turn left onto Oklahoma Avenue and drive south, turn right at N. 6th street and continue under the bridge where the train is located. From there, you will turn right when you reach Broadway Ave and drive north until you have passed the N. 10th St exit. Our doors are on the right a few storefronts down.

We are located just one mile away from Bricktown, making

Teaze a great place to start your night out!

Parking:

To avoid any back up traffic downtown, we suggest using I-235. You can exit NW 23rd street  or NW 10th Street whether you are driving south or north. Traveling west after you exit, Broadway Ave is the first main street you come to. Once you reach our block, you can park along a narrow strip of grass called Campbell Art Park. You may parallel park at no charge east of the park on a street called Broadway Dr. located between NW 13th St and a street called Park Place. Walk toward Broadway Ave (west) and in front of the 5 story construction site that will take you to our front doors (walk south along Broadway Ave).

Other options include: 40 parking spots in a small free parking lot directly across from our front doors on Broadway, located on the west side of Broadway Ave. This lot is south of the Phillips 66 gas station. Be sure to patronize Broadway 10, Hatch, or Sidecar during your visit, as those spots are designated for those particular businesses.

Parking in front of the vacant car dealerships to the north of the Phillips 66 on the west side of the street is also an option. In that area, several designated spots exist directly on Broadway Ave.  There is also a parking garage just west of Broadway Ave. and the entrance is at NW 10th St. It is $5 to park there.
